An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Movie Window Card (WC; measures 13 1/2" x 17 3/4" [34 x 45 cm]) (Learn More) Pawned, the 1922 Irvin V. Willat silent New York City pawn shop nightclub romantic melodrama ("By Frank L. Packard Author of 'The Miracle Man'"; a wild story of a man investigating a pawn shop, and the daughter of the pawn shop owner has been forced to marry a crooked doctor, and the plot of the movie includes a subplot about drug addiction!) starring Tom Moore, Edith Roberts, Charles K. Gerrard, Josef Swickard, and Mabel Van Buren. Note that there is a memorable episode of TV's "Pawn Stars" where a poster dealer brings the pawn shop several posters with pawn shop themes, and they pay a hefty price for them. This was not one of the titles on that show, and we hope someone alerts them to this auction so that they can bid on it! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a much lesser condition title card (the same card twice) from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this window card, which has a great image! Also note that this window card has been trimmed and it now measures 13 1/2" x 17 3/4" [34 x 45 cm]. Condition: good to very good. The window card had a blank top, and it appears that someone trimmed most of that off, and also an equal amount of the left and right blank borders. It was also trimmed to the bottom edge of the image. Someone took a piece of another window card and taped it to the back of the bottom of the card to give it a bottom border that would be equal to the size of the other borders. There is a light brown stain in the upper left blank border. The image area of the card is in surprisingly nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
