The Volga Boatman, the 1926 Cecil B. DeMille silent Russia Revolution romantic love triangle melodrama (based on the novel by Konrad Bercovici; about the men who literally pulled boats along the Volga River in Czarist Russia; the plot concerns a Russian prince and his girlfriend, and they encounter one of the boatmen, who later becomes a leader of the Russian Revolution, and he encounters the prince and his girlfriend again, but there has been a drastic reversal of fortune for all three of them) starring William Boyd (in the title role as Feodor, The Volga Boatman), Elinor Fair, Victor Varconi, Julia Faye, and Theodore Kosloff

Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "pre-War" Belgian poster. Prior to World War II, Belgian posters were much larger than the ones from after the war, and they are extremely rare (because during WWII, there was a massive paper shortage in Belgium, and they took virtually every poster and map, and printed new posters on the backs of them!).

Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
