An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Polish Movie Poster (measures 23" x 34 1/4") (Learn More) Villa Borghese (released in the U.S. in 1957 as "It Happened in the Park"), the 1953 Gianni Franciolini & Vittorio De Sica Italian/French compilation romantic comedy melodrama ("Concerning love-life and the pursuit of happiness"; with cinematography by Mario Bava; a film in six episodes, where the connection between the six is that they are all set in a public park in Rome) starring Anna-Maria Ferrero, Francois Perier, Eduardo De Filippo, Gerard Philipe, Micheline Presle, and Vittorio De Sica. note that when this movie was released in the U.S., one of the six episodes was cut out, and there were only five in the U.S. print (for reasons we could not determine). There were a few minor border defects and a few scuffs in the solid-colored areas. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking.
