Dialogue continuity by John Meehan."; about a rich lawyer in California who brings a mobster client home with him, and his free-spirited daughter runs off with the mobster!) starring Norma Shearer (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Leslie Howard, Lionel Barrymore (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), James Gleason, Clark Gable (one of an amazing 13 movies he appeared in this year, the year he started getting billed, and he is fifth billed, below James Gleason, even though he has a major role in the movie!), Lucy Beaumont, and Roscoe Ates. Note that Lucy Beaumont was an English stage actress who was born in 1869 and came to Hollywood in 1914, at the age of 45, and she played "old lady" roles for the next 20+ years, usually playing a woman much older than herself.
