An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Dakota, the 1945 Joseph Kane romantic cowboy western ("A Romantic Spectacle of the West!"; "The greatest romantic story ever told... And a cast as mighty as the tale they tell... the epic of an era of excitement blazing with the headstrong adventure and romantic interludes... of men of might and the women they loved.") starring John Wayne ("The screen's greatest adventure star"), Vera Ralston (billed as "Vera Hruba Ralston"; "The screen's most beautiful woman"), Walter Brennan ("The screen's outstanding character player"), Ward Bond, Ona Munson, Hugo Haas, Robert 'Bobby' Blake, Mike Mazurki, and Grant Withers NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. water stains at lower left in the white border and left of the title and credits; 1 1/2" tear and paper loss in the white background below the title at lower center; 1 1/2" of separation and paper loss at each crossfold; tiny holes and some paper loss in the right end of the middle horizontal fold as well as some tack holes, tears, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster (see the image at right); bottom 6" folded back at one time; creases and smudges around the edges and to a lesser extent, throughout the poster. The poster is in better condition than the above makes is sound! Its defects are the sort that respond well to restoration. After linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster would look great, and it would have little paint restoration anywhere on it! Learn More about condition grades
