Hogan in TV's "Hogan's Heroes". He appeared in several Disney movies including Gus and Superdad. He was murdered violently in 1979 at the age of 49, and for many years, his death remained a mystery. It was later discovered he had a bizarre secret sex life, and that his best friend likely killed him! The story of his double life and his death was profiled in Paul Schrader's "Auto Focus" in 2002, starring Greg Kinnear and Willem Dafoe.
