Date Sold 5/3/2018Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Folded Movie Advertising Tie-In Poster (measures 24" x 36" [61 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) A View to a Kill, the 1985 John Glen James Bond 007 English/U.S. secret agent spy espionage action adventure fantasy thriller ("Has James Bond Finally Met His Match?"; "Adventure above and beyond all other Bonds"; based on the famous novels by Ian Fleming) starring Roger Moore (as James Bond 007), Tanya Roberts (as Stacey Sutton), Grace Jones (as May Day), Patrick Macnee, Christopher Walken (as Zorin), Alison Doody, Desmond Llewelyn (as Q), Robert Brown (as M), Lois Maxwell (as "Miss Moneypenny"), Dolph Lundgren (in his very first movie; at one time, Lundgren was Grace Jones' bodyguard!), and Patrick Bauchau NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that the first James Bond film to have Bollinger champagne in it (wonderful product placement!) was "Live and Let Die". The champagne was NOT in "The Man with the Golden Gun", "The Spy Who Loved Me", or "For Your Eyes Only". But after that, Bollinger made a new deal, and starting with "Octopussy", Bollinger champagne was in every subsequent James Bond film. Bollinger did not think to make a special poster advertising this unique partnership until "A View to a Kill", and this auction is for this first Bollinger James Bond poster. Bollinger made a special poster for every subsequent James Bond film, but this first one for "A View to a Kill" is far and away the most rare of the James Bond Bollinger posters! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded like a U.S. one-sheet. It has some tiny creases on parts of the folds and additional creases between the top and middle crossfolds, caused when it was folded. The poster was also lightly partially folded in half an extra time, resulting in two extra light vertical folds. There are a few tiny creases and scuffs in parts of the borders, and a few faint creases in the top corners. The poster can certainly be displayed and enjoyed as it is, or after a simple linenbacking, it will look fantastic! Learn More about condition grades
