An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Ann Blyth is an actress from the 1940s to the 1980s. Some of her movies include: Mildred Pierce (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Brute Force, The World in His Arms, and Another Part of the Forest. As of 2022, she is still alive at the age of 94 Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Ann Blyth! Our consignor is a longtime collector who acquired this autograph through correspondence with Miss Blyth in 1986 (he wrote the date he sent it and the date it was returned on the back of the still in pencil). He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this still appears in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the still was printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that it WAS printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us (and we have seen this on stills from the 1940s through the early 2000s, so it has certainly been done for an extremely long time)! So it is an original still from , but it was printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
