An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 10" x 13" [25 x 33 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Charlotte Susa was a German actress and singer from the 1920s to the 1940s. After great success in Germany, she was signed by MGM to appear in their musicals, but apparently her German accent created a problem (although a deluxe still we have seen says that "her English is nearly perfect, with only the slightest trace of an accent"!), and she never appeared in a U.S. movie, returning to Germany where she resumed acting and singing there. She passed away in 1976 at the age of 78. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 10" x 13" [25 x 33 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock and it has an embossed photographer's stamp in the bottom right. Condition: very good. There are a few faint smudges and tiny stains around the edges, and a few faint dot stains in the left background area. Otherwise, the still is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
