An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Herald (measures 4" x 7" [10 x 18 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More) American Madness, the 1932 Frank Capra Depression-era run-on-the-bank financial crime melodrama ("The Great American Picture of Today!"; "Story and Dialogue by Robert Riskin") starring Walter Huston, Pat O'Brien, Sterling Holloway, Kay Johnson, Constance Cummings, and Gavin Gordon. There are those (myself included) who consider this a better Capra movie than "It's a Wonderful Life" (which reprises a significant part of the plot of this movie, involving a "run" on the bank sequence, although the one in this movie is far more realistically portrayed) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is from a wonderful collection of heralds we were consigned. We auctioned the first 30 from this collection (the very best ones) in our April 2024 Major Auction.
