An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) The Shepherd of the Hills, the 1927 Albert S. Rogell (billed as "Al Rogell") silent Ozarks rural romantic melodrama (based on the novel "by Harold Bell Wright"; about a drought in an Ozark community, and a charismatic preacher and his grandson, who seem to be the only two who might fix the situation) starring Molly O'Day, Alec B. Francis (in the title role), John Boles, Matthew Betz, and Romaine Felding. Note that there had been an earlier version of this movie in 1920, and the most famous version was made in 1941 starring John Wayne! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fine. The glass slide itself is in nice condition and the cardboard holder has some minor smudges (as can be seen in our super-sized images). Learn More about condition grades
