a lot of 5 J.R.R. Tolkien calendars. J.R.R. Tolkien (John Ronald Reuel Tolkien) was an English author and professor from the 1910s to the 1950s. He is best known as the author of The Hobbit (which he wrote for his children) and the Lord of the Rings trilogy of books. He was close friends with fellow author C.S. Lewis, and is often called the "father of modern fantasy". He passed away in 1973 at the age of 81. Note that the items in this lot are from the 1970s to the 1980s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of the front cover and an interior 2-page spread from each of them.
