America Calling, the 1941 U.S. World War II (WWII) Home Front poster ("Take your place in Civilian Defense") urging civilians to join the organized non-military effort to prepare civilians for the defense of a military attack against the U.S. Note that this poster features a great image of a bald eagle.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had a very long vertical tear running down the middle right of the poster running through the "N" of "CALLING" in the title and running down to the eagle's foot. There were some creases and scuffs scattered in the poster and some tiny stains around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
