What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). It also had creases and scuffs near the foldlines. It had some scuff marks in the left of Rocky's trunks and in his legs and in the "R" and "C" of the title. There were some creases or tears in the top right and some around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
