The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines, with small tears and tiny paper loss in the bottom of the vertical foldline. There was a tiny bit of surface paper loss in Ellison's forehead. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was simply mounted onto a thin linen with no excess, and no restoration was performed. If I owned this cool poster, I would have it removed from the thin backing and have it properly linenbacked, and it would not require much paint restoration at all. Learn More about condition grades
