Important Added Info: Note that, in 1966, MGM re-released this classic 1959 Alfred Hitchcock movie, and created new posters that most collectors feel are superior to that of the original! It has the classic scene of Cary Grant being chased by the crop duster biplane, plus it shows Mt. Rushmore (and Hitchcock is one of the faces!), plus there is an image of Hitchcock holding a giant hand, plus there is a new tagline that reads, "Only Cary Grant and Alfred Hitchcock ever gave you so much suspense in so many directions so we brought it back!" What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor fold and border wear. It had a stamp in the top right that slightly bled through to the front below the "N" of "MASON" in the credits. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, but the restorer left alone the slight bleed-through described above (and it is really not very noticeable or distracting). Learn More about condition grades
