Berke Africa comic strip adventure thriller ("Hunting a long-lost treasure hoard!"; "His most exciting role!"; "Based upon the famous King Features Syndicate newspaper feature"; "Rousing spectacle of wild adventure!"; the very first of the "Jungle Jim" series of movies) starring Johnny Weissmuller (in the title role as Jungle Jim), Virginia Grey, George Reeves, Lita Baron, Rick Vallin, Holmes Herbert, , and Steve Calvert (in an uncredited role as the man in the gorilla suit). Note that in 1948, Steve Calvert bought Ray 'Crash' Corrigan's gorilla costume, which Corrigan had been using in movies since at least 1932. He appeared in 12 movies between 1948 and 1958 as a gorilla wearing Corrigan's costume! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been machine folded! Most half-sheet posters were folded once horizontally and once vertically right off of the printing press.
