Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had minor wear on the foldlines and some tiny paper loss at a very few crossfolds. There were some minor creases and smudges around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well. At one time, someone must have attached the linenbacked poster to the wall using glue on the back of the top and bottom of the linen, as there are glue stains on the back of the top and bottom of the poster, but it is solely on the back of the linen, and does not affect the poster at all!
