An Original Vintage Unfolded World War II Poster (measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More)

Hit Back! Enlist - U.S. Coast Guard, the 1942 U.S. World War II (WWII) recruitment poster ("Remember Pearl Harbor") encouraging citizens to enlist in the U.S. Coast Guard. Note that this poster features art of a Coast Guard plane flying over a German Nazi submarine (with a swastika on the conning tower) that has just sunk a U.S. ship.

Important Added Info: Note that we auctioned a different example of this poster in 2016, and it auctioned for $159, in "good to very good" condition. Also note that this poster is printed on a heavy stock paper that can't be rolled, and the poster will be need to be shipped in a large flat package.

Condition: good. There are stains in the bottom text area and just a few scuffs scattered in the art. There is a tear and tiny paper loss in the right of the bottom border, with a few other small tears and creases in the bottom (see our image).
