The Lonely Trail, the 1936 Joseph Kane Texas cowboy western ("Original story by Bernard McConville") starring John Wayne, Ann Rutherford, Cy Kendall, Fred 'Snowflake' Toones, Sam Flint, Dennis Moore, and Yakima Canutt

Condition: very good. 3" tear in the lower right edge in the white background (repaired with tape from the back); approximately 1/2" of paper loss in the middle crossfold in Wayne's cheek (again, repaired with tape from the back); scuff mark at upper left through Wayne's ear extending into his forehead as well as some crease, smudges, and scuffs throughout the poster (more so around the edges); approximately 1 1/2" of separation at each crossfold and some 1" and smaller tears along the foldlines and around the edges of the poster (most repaired with tape from the back). The poster is in better condition than the above makes it sound! Its defects are relatively minor, and are the type that respond extremely well to restoration. After linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster would look wonderful, and there would be little paint anywhere on the poster!
