An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Cheyenne, the 1929 Albert S. Rogell silent Wyoming rodeo romantic cowboy western ("Ken rides to new screen glory"; "Ken, the all around, all-American star in one of his most exciting pictures. See him ride the bucking bronchos [sic], bulldog the racing steers and ride to victory and love in one of the most thrilling races ever staged!"; "Story by Bennett Cohen") starring Ken Maynard, Gladys McConnell, James Bradbury Jr., Billy Franey, Slim Whitaker, and Tarzan (Ken Maynard's horse). Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good to fine. This poster was linenbacked, and it had very minor defects, and was well backed. Read below for a description of those defects, and about the quality of the restoration (if I found anything worth commenting on!). You should also look at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). the poster had tiny holes at the crossfolds and minor fold wear; there were pinholes in the corners and some creases, smudges, and tears around the edges of the poster.
