An Original Vintage Theatrical Danish Movie Program (measures 4 3/4" x 6 1/2"; 8 pages) (Learn More) Why We Fight, the 1942 - 1943 Frank Capra & Anatole Litvak World War II (WWII) propaganda documentary series narrated by Walter Huston, Anthony Veiller, and Knox Manning. These films were commissioned by the United States government during World War II whose purpose was to show American soldiers the reason for U.S. involvement in the war. Later on they were also shown to the general U.S. public to persuade them to support American involvement in the war. This poster could be for an individual documentary in the series or a compilation of the complete series. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Important Added Info: Note that the title of this program literally translates to "Why Was the War", but the images and writing seem to make it extremely likely that it is specifically for "The Nazis Strike" short (although it could have been a showing of the whole series.
