An Original Vintage Autographed Christmas Brochure (measures 3 3/4" x 6") (Learn More) Eleanor Powell was an actress and legendary tap dancer from the 1930s to the 1950s, primarily in MGM musicals. She was married to Glenn Ford from 1943 to 1969, and they had one child, Peter Ford. Some of her movies include: Broadway Melody of 1936, Thousands Cheer, and Honolulu. She passed away in 1982 at the age of 69. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Eleanor Powell! She was giving a "rare cassette" to a friend, and this brochure went with the cassette, and she inscribed the first interior page of the brochure with an inscription to her friend and wrote at the bottom "To Dearest Wayne From Ellie who loves you". She also wrote "From Eleanor Powell Xmas 1978" on the envelope the brochure was enclosed in. The cassette she was giving is no longer present, but the winner of this auction will receive the above two items, both signed by Eleanor Powell (see our images). Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to be authentic.
