In the first half of the twentieth century, Pennsylvania Railroad grew to the largest train railroad in the nation and, at one time, it was the largest publicly traded corporation in the world, with a budget larger than that of the U.S. government and a workforce of about 250,000 people. It also had the famous "Penn Station" at 34th Street and 7th Avenue in New York City. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. It is undated, but our best guess is that it is from the late 1940s, and we imagine it could be from the early 1950s, but it would not seem to be later than that.
