What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some small tears and tiny areas of paper loss on parts of some folds. Either before or after it was backed, it acquired some slightly larger areas of paper loss near the top crossfolds. Someone mounted it onto a very thin linen with no excess and did no restoration (this likely happened decades ago). The poster was very roughly handled, and it has many creases scattered throughout, and it also is "lifting" from the old linen in several places. The new owner of this poster absolutely needs to have it removed from the old linen and backed by a talented professional.
