Note that the great Paul Robeson does not appear on much of the advertising for this movie, no doubt due to the prejudices of the time, which is sad. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that it seems very symbolic of Hollywood's attitude towards black African-Americans in the 1930s that the great Paul Robeson is standing in the shadows behind the four lead stars!
