Goulding silent slapstick romantic marriage family comedy short ("Pete, the motor cop, had loved Polly ever since she gave him the key to the ice box"; part of the Smith Family series of comedy shorts; produced by Mack Sennett) starring Raymond McKee, Ruth Hiatt, Mary Ann Jackson (4 years old in this role; one of the first child stars of the 1920s; she later appeared in "Our Gang" comedies; she made a total of 70 movies between 1925 and 1931, after which she retired at the age of 8!; she had a much older sister, Peaches Jackson, who made movies around the same time, and oddly, often played boys!), Polly Moran (in the title role as the cook), Johnny Burke, Vernon Dent, and Omar the dog NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
