Wells predicted rocket ships and space travel in 'Things to Come'... nuclear energy and the atom bomb in 'The Time Machine' Now... the master of science fiction, tells his most frightening story."; "...for a taste of hell in the terrifying prediction of an ecology gone berserk!"; "... for a taste of HELL!"; "Based upon a portion of the novel by H.G.Wells"; "H.G. Wells' masterpiece of science fiction"; "Screenplay by Bert I. Gordon") starring Marjoe Gortner, Pamela Franklin, Ralph Meeker, Jon Cypher, Belinda Balaski, Tom Stovall, and Ida Lupino ("as Mrs. Skinner") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good. Four of the cards have a 1 1/4" vertical tear in the left center edge of the image background. Each card has a small crease in each corner.. Note that it is extremely time-consuming to individually describe the condition of each lobby card in a set of eight. Because of the large number of sets we sell, we will only note more significant defects in each individual card. We will NOT note every tiny border tear, stain, or pinhole.
