Note that Alfred Hitchcock used the two taglines "The birds is coming!" and "The birds is here!" on several different types of advertising for this movie, no doubt because he thought it was funny that while it is technically grammatically correct when referring to the movie, they "sound wrong"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. There is a rating stamp in the blank white background at right. The top and bottom 1 1/4" of the poster was folded back at one time. There are few pairs of staple holes in the corners of the poster with small rust stains at upper and lower right. There is an area of surface paper loss and a very light tape stain on the back of the poster in the area just above Tandy's credit at lower center that very slightly bleeds through to the front. The poster is otherwise in quite nice condition and of course if one chose to have it restored it would look fantastic, but I'm sure most collectors could quite happily display this classic Hitchcock poster as it is!
