Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14 1/2" x 19" [37 x 48 cm]. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). The poster had paper loss in the let border, extending into Heflin's jacket and waist. It also had darkened somewhat. It had some tiny creases and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some folds, with some tears and surface paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
