Raker Endfield") English romantic love triangle truck-driving crime melodrama ("Thirteen desperate men on a suicide run - with a man-hungry redhead's dangerous curves at the end!"; about an ex-convict, who gets a job working for a trucking company, and he discovers the owners are cheating the drivers, and he wants to expose them, but this is complicated by his growing interest in the boss' pretty girlfriend) starring Stanley Baker, Herbert Lom, Peggy Cummins, Patrick McGoohan, Sean Connery (in his second credited movie role!), Jill Ireland, William Hartnell, Wilfrid Lawson, Sydney James, Alfie Bass, Gordon Jackson, Wensley Pithey, George Murcell, Jill Ireland, Marjorie Rhodes, Ronald Clarke, and David McCallum. Note that this is justifiably one of the most famous "B" movies of all time, both for its tight suspenseful plot and for its remarkable cast of English actors, who all went on to major careers! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these cards are a set of lobby cards printed in Italy for use in England. The lower right of each card is printed "Vecchioni & Guadagno - Roma (1957)". Note that sometimes these Italian cards were printed with full credits for the movie in English, but that sometimes they were printed with the credits and title box blank, so that the cards could also be used in non-English speaking countries. In this case, the cards were printed blank and a snipe with the title and credits were glued in the blank box.
