An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Dark Passage, the 1947 Delmer Daves San Francisco California romantic crime film noir ("Together again!"; "In danger as violent as their love!!!"; "Their crowning achievement together!"; "The hunted become the hunters... As a spectacular Saturday Evening Post serial is brought to the screen!"; "From the Novel by David Goodis"; about a man who was wrongfully convicted of killing his wife, and he escapes from San Quentin and then has plastic surgery to disguise his appearance, and he hitchhikes a ride with beautiful Lauren Bacall, who offers to help him find out who actually killed his wife) starring Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, Bruce Bennett, Agnes Moorehead, Tom D'Andrea, Clifton Young, and Douglas Kennedy. Note that this was the third movie in which Humphrey Bogart co-starred with Lauren Bacall. They first met during the filming of "To Have and Have Not" in 1944, and then were married in 1945. They re-teamed for "The Big Sleep" in 1946, and then made this movie the following year. They teamed again in "Key Largo" in 1948, but they did not make another movie together after that, likely having a lot to do with their having two children. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. There is writing and NSS stamps on the back of the poster that bleed through to the front in the title and credits area at bottom. There is separation and tiny paper loss at each crossfold and at some of the ends of the foldlines. The top 2" of the poster was folded back at one time and there are some small tears, pin holes, and areas of tiny paper loss around the edges of the poster. There are creases and fine white lines in the credits area at upper right that appear to be from a printing defect. There are light stains in the right of the bottom edge of the poster as well as some slight discoloration throughout the poster. Note that, with the exception of some tiny paper loss in background and border areas, the poster is "all there" and its defects are relatively minor. After linenbacking by a top professional, the poster will look fantastic, and there will be little need for paint restoration anywhere on the poster! Learn More about condition grades
