Also included is a herald that has 2 pages (Learn More) The Big Bounce, the 1969 Alex March romantic crime thriller ("Hello, Nancy. Hi, Jack. What'll we do tonight? How does the cemetery grab you? Groovy."; "From the novel by Elmore Leonard"; "Breaking and entering was fun. So was murder. A beautiful girl... But not very nice."; "A comedy about taking a chance on paradise."; "Who's scamming who?"; "You always drive like this Nancy: Mmmm... You're crowding those kids pretty tight! Mmmm... You could kill them, Nancy! Mmmm..."; "The Big Bounce...in which a guy and a girl try some robbery and a little murder for the lack of anything better to do.") starring Ryan O'Neal, Leigh Taylor-Young (in her second movie role!), Lee Grant, James Daly, Robert Webber, and Van Heflin ("as Sam Mirakian"). Note that Ryan O'Neal had achieved success playing Rodney Harrington in TV's "Peyton Place" from 1964 to 1969, but this was his very first movie. He had married Leigh Taylor-Young in 1967, and in 1968, she was in "I Love You, Alice B. Toklas", and then the following year, the husband and wife co-starred in this movie. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that when studios would prepare pressbooks they would often include a sample of the herald. Most often, the herald is no longer still with the pressbook. Sometimes, the herald by itself will sell for almost as much as the rest of the entire pressbook! This pressbook contains the original herald that was included with it, and it is pictured next to the pressbook below. Also note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook, and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners purchased pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut! Condition: good to very good, NO CUTS. Learn More about condition grades
