An Original 1946 (from the first release of this movie in Denmark) Vintage Theatrical Folded Danish Movie Poster (measures 24 1/4" x 33 1/2" [62 x 85 cm]) (Learn More) Great Guns, the 1941 Monty Banks military screwball comedy ("They're the target in target practice! They're the revel in reveille!..... and they're the pain in the Sergeant's neck!") starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy (Laurel and Hardy), Sheila Ryan, Dick Nelson, Edmund MacDonald, Paul Harvey, Russell Hicks, Charles Arnt, and Alan Ladd (in an uncredited role). Note that this movie was released in October 1941, when the U.S. was on the verge of entering World War II (and since it was expected by many, it made sense for studios to make war movies at this time). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: fair to good. The poster has many creases scattered throughout (see our image) as well as a few smudges. It has pinholes in the corners and there is a Danish "Statens Filmcensur" censor ink pad stamp in one corner. After proper restoration the very rare poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it. Learn More about condition grades
