Take a Chance, the 1933 Monte Brice & Laurence Schwab romantic musical crime comedy ("A barrel of fun"; "From the musical play 'Take A Chance' written by the authors Schwab, DeSylva, Youmans, Brown, Whiting"; "Now on the screen after 52 weeks on Broadway"; about a pair of pickpockets who work in a carnival, but go to Broadway, and get mixed up with gangsters and a beautiful girl) starring James Dunn, June Knight, Lillian Roth, Cliff Edwards, Lilian Bond, Dorothy Lee, Lona Andre, and Charles 'Buddy' Rogers. Note that June Knight was a striking blonde who appeared in 12 movies between 1930 and 1940, two of them in uncredited roles. Perhaps she had bad luck, but her movies were very forgettable, and she is completely forgotten today. If anyone knows more about her or what happened to her career, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has separation and tiny paper loss at the top and bottom crossfolds. There is a piece of brown paper tape on the back of the top right corner and there was a similar crease on the back of the top left corner, and someone roughly removed it, causing surface paper loss on the back of the top left corner. After a simple linenbacking, the poster will look great and it will require little paint restoration within the image.
