DeMille silent romantic love triangle idle rich melodrama ("By Jeanie Macpherson"; about the neglected wife of a businessman who attracts the attention of a deposed king, and she plans to run off with him, and her daughter steals the king away from her, but only to save her parents' marriage, but at the cost of ruining her own engagement) starring Milton Sills, Elliott Dexter, Theodore Kosloff, Anna Q. Nilsson, and Pauline Garon NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is one of 16 groups of incredibly rare stills from Cecil B. DeMille movies from between 1915 and 1923. On several of these titles, virtually no movie paper at all exists! These are all of the groups of early Cecil B. DeMille stills we were consigned, so unless you purchase from this set of auctions, you may not have a chance at groups of stills like these for many years! Note also that the still pictured at top is printed on a deluxe heavyweight paper stock and it has an ink pad stamp on back that reads "Photograph by Donald Biddle Keyes"! Condition: good to very good. The still pictured at top has slightly rippled around the edges and it has a tear at bottom. The other still has some light scuffs and smudges.
