A 1953 Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Folded Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81" [104 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) The Stranger, the classic 1946 Orson Welles post-World War II (WWII) Nazi romantic crime film noir ("The most deceitful man a woman ever loved!"; "Story by Victor Trivas and Decla Dunning"; about a government agent who is sent to a small town to find a man he suspects is a former Nazi, who is living a new life and is romantically involved with a beautiful woman) starring Edward G. Robinson, Loretta Young, Orson Welles, Philip Merivale, Richard Long, and Billy House NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that there is something very unusual about this re-release three-sheet! It had "ALL PURPOSE SHEET" written in tiny letters in the bottom border of the bottom piece. We suspect what this means is that the addition of the bottom sheet made it a three-sheet, but that theaters could also use solely the top two-thirds as a "two-sheet" (we have seen this before with other posters, but we have not seen the notation "all purpose sheet" before). Also note that this three-sheet was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. Condition: very good. There are some creases and several tears along the foldlines that were on the outside when the poster was fully folded. There are some creases, smudges, and tiny tears on the other foldlines, and some tiny paper loss at some crossfolds. Learn More about condition grades
