What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. Prior to paperbacking, the poster had creases, smudges, pinholes, and tears around the edges, with many smudges and scuffs scattered throughout the poster. It was displayed and the reds in the poster faded considerably, causing the gold areas to become a yellow color and causing the oranges to become much more pale orange color. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to paperbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer did not attempt to address the fading issue. The poster can still be displayed and enjoyed, but bear in mind its significant defects as noted above (and look at our super-sized image) before bidding on this poster.
