An Autographed 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" [14 x 22 cm] Index Card (Learn More)

Saul Zaentz was a producer from the 1970s to the 2000s. His most successful movie was "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". Some of his other movies include: Amadeus, The Mosquito Coast, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, and The English Patient. He owned the rights to Creedence Clearwater Revival's music, and for years he would not allow John Fogarty to perform his own music without paying a royalty, which Fogarty refused! Amazingly, Zaentz sued Fogarty when he released a new album that Zaentz said was too similar to the CCR music he owned the rights to, so he was essentially suing Fogarty for plagiarizing himself, and the judge threw the case out of court! He passed away in 2014 at the age of 92.
Important Added Info: Note that this autograph was consigned to us from the estate of a man who lived in Los Angeles and would attend many premieres and special events, and he would obtain in person autographs from as many celebrities as he possibly could! He would carry a stack of special 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" "index" cards with him (they are the same weight as regular index cards, but much bigger). He would ask the celebrity for an autograph and hand them this large card (no doubt hoping that it would cause them to write their signature much bigger, so that it would be more prominent the day it would be framed with an image of that star!). This autograph was obtained in person, and we feel certain it is authentic!

Condition: very good to fine. The card is in nice condition!
