An Undated (probably 1970s) Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian Photobusta Movie Poster (pbusta; measures 18 1/2" x 26" [47 x 66 cm]) (Learn More) A Bout de Souffle (released in the U.S. in 1961 as "Breathless"), the classic 1960 Jean-Luc Godard French New Wave romantic gangster crime thriller (about a small time thief who steals a car and murders a policeman, and he tries to persuade his beautiful American journalism student girlfriend to run away to Italy with him, but she has misgivings) starring Jean Seberg, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Daniel Boulanger, Jean-Pierre Melville, Henri-Jacques Huet, Liliane David, Claude Mansard, and Van Doude. Note that this movie, together with Francois Truffaut's "Les quatre cents coups" began the French "New Wave", which revolutionized film-making, not only in France, but the world over! Important Added Info: Note that it is difficult to accurately date Italian posters, and some unmarked re-release posters can be extremely difficult to distinguish from first releases, so please bear that in mind before you place a bid. Also note that this poster was folded down the middle at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. A small amount has been trimmed from the corners of the poster and there are a few 1/2" and smaller tears around the edges.
