Jericho (released in the U.S. in 1938 as "Dark Sands"), the 1937 Thornton Freeland English military war adventure musical (about a black soldier who kills a superior officer who is going crazy, and he is sentenced to death, and a white officer gets him a furlough so he can spend his last days with his family, but he deserts and goes to Africa where he becomes a tribal leader, and the officer is sentenced to prison, and when he gets out, he tries to hunt down the soldier to bring him back!) starring Paul Robeson, Henry Wilcoxon, Wallace Ford, Kouka (billed on some items as "Princess Kouka"), John Laurie, and James Carew

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster was almost certainly printed in the very late 1930s or in the early 1940s, at a time when most of Europe was undergoing a severe paper shortage due to World War II. So they would take older unused posters, and print new posters on the backs of them! In this particular case, the poster was printed on the back of a portion of a much larger poster that was cut down to make smaller posters. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. The text on the back of the poster bleeds through to the front at left. There is some tattering and small paper loss around the edges of the poster and there is some small paper loss at the crossfold at center (some repaired with tape from the back). The poster has darkened slightly with age.
