Balderston from the play by Peggy Webling"; the first of the Universal "Frankenstein" movies, and regarded as one of the finer movies of any genre, in large part due to the marvelous acting of Boris Karloff, and the marvelous direction of James Whale!) starring Colin Clive (as Dr. Herbert V. Frankenstein), Boris Karloff (as the Frankenstein monster), Edward Van Sloan, Fredric Kerr, Mae Clarke, Dwight Frye (extremely memorable as Fritz), and John Boles NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There are faint stains in the bottom half of the right blank border, as well as some faint staining on the back of that area, with a few other tiny stains in other parts of the blank borders. The card is very lightly rippled throughout due to exposure to moisture, but it is more "felt" than seen. There is a very tiny pinhole in top edge of the top blank border. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! The card can certainly be displayed as it is, or one could choose to have restoration performed, but either way, the new owner will have a really cool card to display on the wall!
