Secret Service of the Air, the 1939 Noel Smith government spy espionage airplane aviation action thriller ("See Secret Operative J-2 fly straight into his most dangerous adventure!"; "Thrilling secrets of the Secret Service!"; "See Uncle Sam's secret guardians smash a vicious international spy ring!"; "Based upon Material Compiled by W.H. Moran, Ex-Chief of the U.S. Secret Service") starring Ronald Reagan, John Litel, Ila Rhodes, James Stephenson, and Eddie Foy Jr. Note that this movie proved quite popular, and it was followed by three sequels, all based on the same source material, and all starring Ronald Reagan! All four movies came out in a little over a year.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and small tears in the vertical foldline between the middle crossfold and the bottom one with some tears in the middle right of the poster (in the right half of the title). There were pinholes, tears, and a few tiny stains around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did little restoration to the defects described above (any restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
