An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Herald (measures 3 1/4" x 6 1/4" [8 x 16 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More) The Shine Girl, the 1916 William Parke silent romantic love triangle melodrama ("A Gold Rooster Play in 5 Parts"; about a poor shoeshine girl who steals a loaf of bread to help a sick neighbor, and the judge not only pardons her, but he takes a "deep interest" in her and has his mother adopt her, and after she stops him from marrying a "wrong woman", they develop a deep love and marry) starring Gladys Hulette (in the title role as the Shine Girl), Wayne Arey, Kathryn Adams, Ethelmary Oakland, and John Cook. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
