An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Swedish Movie Poster (measures approximately 27" x 39") (Learn More)

Fanny och Alexander (released in the U.S. in 1983 as "Fanny and Alexander"), the classic 1982 Ingmar Bergman (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) Swedish/French/German family relationship romantic melodrama starring Pernilla Allwin (in the title role "as Fanny"), Bertil Guve (in the title role "as Alexander"), Ewa Froling, Erland Josephson, Jan Malmsjo, Gunn Wallgren, Gunn Waring, Jarl Kulle, Christina Schollin, and Allan Edwall. Note that director Bergman made both a 3 hour and a 5 hour version of this movie. The 3 hour version briefly played in theaters in 1982 so that it could qualify for the Academy Awards, but then the 5 hour version was shown on TV as a 4-part mini-series, and then the 3 hour version was given a wide release!

Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this Swedish movie!

Condition: fine. This poster was linenbacked and during the backing process, its extremely minor defects were repaired and it now looks really great! We only assigned this grade ("fine or better") to posters that were in really excellent condition prior to linenbacking, AND which were linenbacked by a top professional!

The poster was never folded. There were a few minor scuffs within the image and some very minor border defects. Overall, the poster was in fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and looks great!
