An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More) Sammy Davis Jr. was a top black African American singer and actor from the 1930s through 1990 (he started as a child star, "Little Sammy Davis", and as a small boy he played the title role in "Rufus Jones for President" in 1933). From 1936 to 1939, he was a member of the "Will Mastin Trio", which consisted of Sammy Davis Jr., his father, Sammy Davis Sr., and Will Mastin, a beloved family friend (and all three men we buried next to each other!). Mr. Davis was called "The World's Greatest Entertainer", and his stage show included wonderful impersonations of top celebrities. In the 1960s, he was a member of "The Rat Pack", together with Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Peter Lawford. Some of his movies include: Ocean's Eleven, Porgy and Bess, Robin and the 7 Hoods, and Convicts 4. He passed away in 1990 at the age of 64. Condition: good. Learn More about condition grades
