A Promotional T-Shirt (size: Medium) (Learn More) The 1972 E.C. Fan-Addict convention, which was organized by Ron Barlow and Bruce Hershenson, and it is widely regarded as the finest comic book convention ever, because almost all of the EC artists and staff members attended, including Bill Gaines, Al Feldstein, Wally Wood, and so many others! Important Added Info: Note that Ron Barlow had two dozen orange T-shirts created with the EC logo, so that the staff members of this convention could be easily seen from across the large rooms the convention took place in. Ron and Bruce wore these during the 4 days of the show (see our image). Bruce saved two T-shirts all the way from when they were created in 1972, and traded one of them to a leading E.C. collector, and is offering the other one here, and other than those, virtually none of these survive, especially in unused, unworn condition!
Note also that this auction contains an actual image of the co-founders of this convention, Ron Barlow and Bruce Hershenson, wearing EC T-shirts (just like the one in this auction) at the actual convention itself in 1972! This image was taken by EC mega-fan Roger Hill, and was seen in the hobby for many years in a black and white version, but not long before his untimely passing Mr Hill located the original color photo, and it will be be published for the first time in July 2024 in the EC-Fan Addict Fanzine No. 6, in Roger Hill's article "SQUA TRONT Part Three: Our New York Adventures" which discusses this convention and includes photos he took there!
