Date Sold 3/19/2023Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 10 lobby cards from Franchot Tone movies. Franchot Tone was an actor from the 1930s to the 1960s. He was married to Joan Crawford between 1935 and 1939. He started out as a leading man, but fairly early on, he shifted to playing "the other man" (the one who never got the girl!), and later he seamlessly shifted to playing character roles. Some of his movies include: Mutiny On The Bounty (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Advise & Consent, Bombshell, Phantom Lady, and Five Graves to Cairo. He passed away in 1968 at the age of 63. Note that the items in this lot are mostly from the 1940s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Condition: very good. Most of the lobby cards are in "very good" condition. A few have enough wear that they would qualify as "good to very good" or "good", and some are better than "very good".
