Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was placed on to a very thin linen backing shortly after being printed (and someone also trimmed 3/8" from the top and bottom blank borders, and only blank paper was affected). The purpose was to reinforce the poster, so that it would survive, when it was passed from theater to theater, and when it was put up on walls and taken down. It has some creases and a few tiny tears along the folds, pinholes around the edges, and some light creases scattered throughout the poster. This poster could be professionally removed from the original linen and placed onto a new linen backing, or it could be displayed as is.
