An Original Vintage Theatrical Cloth Banner Movie Poster (measures 9" x 11" [23 x 28 cm]) (Learn More)

The Fatal Ring, the 1917 George B. Seitz silent Pathe crime action serial ("A Romantic Serial") starring Pearl White (famous star of the most memorable silent serial, "The Perils of Pauline"), Warner Oland, Earle Foxe, Floyd Buckley, Ruby Hoffman, and Gesare Gravina. Note that Pearl White is of course the most famous female silent serial star, but after many injuries from her roles, she decided that she wanted to quit serials, and she turned to "serious acting", but she became addicted to painkillers, and she retired in 1924 and passed away in 1938, when she was just 49.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this cool cloth banner, which has a metal strip attached to the top (it was created this way)! Not only that, but the only items we have ever auctioned from this movie are a one-sheet (22 years ago, which sold for $1,000) and a glass slide (14 years ago)!

Condition: good. The cloth has dried out and it has creases scattered throughout, with staining in the bottom of the title and the background below, and a tiny hole in the background at the bottom of the first "A" of "FATAL".
